Ways to Mix Your Fonts

I have been working on a logo design for a company and sometimes I get a little blocked when it comes to picking the right kinds of fonts to go with my design. Then I received an email from my boss with an article on "Four Ways to Mix Fonts" by H&FJ. This article came in handy for helping me work with the fonts that I have and finding ones that will complement each other. H&FJ's Highly Scientific First Principle of Combining Fonts is: keep one thing consistent, and let one thing vary. It is basically the interplay between the fonts that can give the mood for the design. They talk about making different palettes to assist in choosing your fonts.
