I came across this video, If Facebook Were Invented in the 90's and it had me rolling. I could only imagine the idea of what someone's thoughts would have been on the idea of Facebook back in the 90's. I mean you're on dial up for crying out loud. I highly recommend watching this, the sounds and style alone made it funny.  It was from a VHS tape with the popular science show ‘Wonders of the World Wide Web’ about Facebook. Enjoy!

Italian illustrator Franco Brambilla who is devoted to sci-fi has created this series Invading the Vintage. He takes grandpa's old postcards and invades them with aliens from sci-fi movies and old tv shows. I'm sure this series will put a smile on a lot of Star Wars fans and those of the sci-fi community. I know it put a smile on my nerdy face. Franco does have prints available as well as calendars for sale here and you can check his flickr account here.

I couldn't pass this up since I've always been a fan of Beavis and Butthead.  So when I saw these real life prosthetic models of Beavis and Butthead I had to repost this. The creator behind these creations is special makeup effects artist Kevin Kirkpatrick. Who I guess wanted to terrify or even shock the world with how creepy Beavis and Butthead would look in real life. Then it begs the question, what would Daria look like in real life?

Although, I think they could have added "surf the internet on your phone", but that would have made all the suggestions useless.
