The current situation dictates that the majority of us stay home. While that makes ideal conditions for you know - binge-watching, that also means you might not have anyone to binge with. Enter Netflix Party. This Chrome extension lets you create private "parties", complete with chat rooms, that allow you to invite friends to enjoy Netflix shows and movies together over the Internet in real-time. Not as fun as meeting up in real life, but certainly better than getting sick risking a trip to make that happen. It only works with Chrome browser and Extension installed.

It is now 2020 and with that comes new landscapes of the ambient sounds of Tycho. Tycho just released a new single "Outer Sunset" for the upcoming new album Simulcast, which is out on February 28th 2020 and is available for pre-order now.
This new album is like a companion to their latest album Weather, which recently was a Grammy-nominated album. Here is what Tycho had to say about the new album Simulcast:
"A Simulcast is the transmission of a program across different mediums and in different languages. With these two albums I wanted to present the same ideas in two languages, one more literal and the other more open to interpretation. Simulcast expands on the concepts laid out in Weather but shifts into the abstract with instrumental soundscapes in place of lyrics opening up a visual space and translating the message into a new language."
I'm sure a lot fans out there are looking forward to this new album just as much The Collective Loop is, however their is even better news. Not only do you get a new single and an upcoming new album dropping next month you also get a tour. Check out the new single below and check the tour dates to see if he is coming to your area this year.

The most iconic cell phone from the distant past has returned with some upgrades. The 2019 Motorola RAZR ($1,500) shares a lot with its pre-smartphone ancestors, including a flip-open design, pronounced "chin", outward-facing screen, this time touch-enabled for quickly responding to messages and controlling music, and even the same radii on the curves. But instead of a keypad and tiny screen, it opens to reveal a 6.2-inch plastic OLED panel running Android 9 Pie. Its specs aren't overly impressive — it has a Snapdragon 710 processor, 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, a single 16mp front-facing camera, and a fingerprint reader. The specs are nice but the world can't bring the joy of flipping the thing closed to end a call. For the truly nostalgic, it also has a "Retro RAZR" mode that apes the original's interior design, from the interface and boot sequence to the iTap text entry. It will be available exclusively on Verizon in the US and will start shipping in January 2020.

The Rhythmo BeatBox ($TBA) is a DIY project that was meant to be a cost-effective first step in making music. It uses a cardboard box as a platform and leaves it up to the future performer to assemble it (no soldering required). It can be built in under one hour and uses an array of arcade buttons, knobs, and a joystick for control. A companion app handles much of the sound processing, and it also can serve as a standard MIDI controller. Creations can be enjoyed via the built-in speakers, through headphones, or through external speakers attached to the headphone jack.
Google has just combined its Nest and Home divisions, creating Google Nest that encompasses all the company's smart home efforts. It does makes sense that their first new product would be a combination of both Google and Nest. The Google Nest Home Max Smart Display ($229) combines elements of the Google Home Max speaker, Google Home Hub display, and Nest Camera into a single package. It has a 10" HD display, a 6.5-megapixel camera, stereo speakers with a dedicated sub-woofer, and Google Assistant built in. Thus it can act as a controller for other smart devices in the house, a video chat station, a speaker, and if you want, a mini TV. Shipping later this summer 2019. Check out more info on Google.
Tycho has just dropped a new single track "Easy" and it's name gives you just that. An easy feeling.
Scott Hansen also known as Tycho had to say: "Easy is about coming to terms with my past and defining a clear vision moving forward. It's a comforting voice that reminds you not to get so lost in the work but to take it easy and enjoy the ride. Easy is the bridge to the future." This is a great way to think when listening to this track. It starts out slow and then hits you with nostalgic feels of Tycho with a chilling vocal, which is a great edition to this track. Looking forward to Tycho's new album, which should be dropping soon. (TBA). In the meantime, enjoy the track and the official video below.
Gone are the days of buying a new gaming console every few years. With Google's Stadia platform, the data center is your console. It provides near-instant streaming of games at 60 frames-per-second in up to 4K HDR quality across laptops, desktops, phones, tablets, and TVs with a minimum of 25mbps connections. While it works with existing controllers, a special Stadia controller will offer a direct WiFi connection to the cloud for easier screen-to-screen transitions, a dedicated streaming button. Just one of the many ways the service will tie into YouTube and give a dedicated Google Assistant button with special help options specifically for Stadia games. Arriving later this year, with further details, including pricing, expected this summer.
Since it seems that companies are coming out with folded phones lets take a look at this one. The Huawei Mate X, which keeps its screens on the exterior of the phone. The result is a logical design that lets both 6.6-inch "sides" of the screen function when folded, yet serve as an 8-inch tablet when unfurled. It also promises high-speed 5G wireless connectivity, excellent image chops thanks to the Leica-engineered camera, and plenty of battery life thanks to a purpose-designed 4500 mAh cell. The cost, however, is up to $2,600 compared to the Samsung Fold which is $2,000.
It's a smartphone when folded, a tablet when unfolded, the Samsung Galaxy Fold aims to create a new product category. It has a 4.6-inch AMOLED front display for normal use and a hidden hinge that opens for access to the 7.3-inch Dynamic AMOLED Infinity Flex display for when you want to watch a video, multitask (app continuity), or just view your content on a larger screen. Six cameras with three on the back, one on the front, and two on the inside — allows you to snap photos from any angle, and a 7nm Octa-Core processor, 12GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, two batteries, and an available 5G modem ensure nothing slows you down. Coming April 26 with a whopping price tag of $1,980.
Phones now a days can capture amazing videos but it seems that the sounds is a little lacking. The Sennheiser Memory Mic ($200) is out to make sure the audio is equally as good. Designed to clip onto any thing even your clothing, it connects via Bluetooth but continues to record even if it's out of range. It can record up to four hours of audio at a time, recharges via USB, and has a companion app that automatically synchronizes the audio and video and also allows you to mix audio from the mic with ambient noise from your phone's built-in mics. Is this something that can up your video recording game with your phone.

The EverCam is what I would be looking for in a security camera. It takes the headache out of the others in the industry as far as battery life, complex setups, mounting and so on. EverCam was designed from the ground up to offer wireless freedom. The EverCam's 13,400 mAh Li-ion battery is claimed to be good for 365 days per charge, or 3 years in stand-by mode, with Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 allowing the battery to be juiced up in less than 3 hours.
The security camera wirelessly transmits data to the system's HomeBase hub over Wi-Fi, which also rocks a 5,200 mAh battery so that it can continue to operate for up to a week in the event of an outage.
When the EverCam system's motion detectors register movement, the EverCam uses AI-enhanced facial recognition technology to recognize family, friends and regular visitors who pass in front of the 140-degree, F2.2 lens and determine who is a stranger. Two-way audio also allows users to interrogate visitors such as delivery drivers or service people without opening the front door.
The IP66 weatherproof security camera can be strategically positioned using mounts designed to deter would-be pilferers, but if determined thieves do manage to make off with an EverCam, it will "brick itself to prevent it from being hacked or used by someone else."
The hub comes with a 16GB microSD media card (can be optionally expanded up to 128 GB) for storing AES-128 encrypted Full HD recorded footage, including anything captured with the camera's night vision mode. And if home-based storage isn't enough, eufy is offering cloud storage for US$2.99 per month, per camera. Recorded footage can only be accessed using the EverCam iOS/Android/browser app, which makes use of AES-256 security for login.
The EverCam Kickstarter campaign has already exceeds the needed pledges. Pledges currently start at $219 for a camera, hub, entry sensor, magnetic and screw mount, cables and microSD card. And if all goes to plan, expected to ship to backers in September 2018. Watch the video below for more information or check out EverCam Kickstarter.

Now here is something that gamer's can appreciate and here is why! It's not enough that you bought every console on the market. Some people still prefer paper and hand writing stuff, but what if it was digital but felt like paper and you could write on it? The reMarkable Paper Tablet ($380) does just that and they aim to bridge the gap by offering digital convenience with a truly paper-like experience. At its heart is a cutting-edge 10.3-inch, 226 PPI E Ink display, covered with high-friction surface materials so it doesn't just look like paper, but feels like it, too. The accompanying pen has tilt detection, 2,048 levels of pressure sensitivity, and virtually zero lag.
