Sonos changed what the term “home stereo” really means, channeling your music to every room of your house. It is a little pricey at $999.00 but I'm sure it would be a great buy for anyone who is a music lover and listens to more music than watching TV.
The Sonos Bundle 250 gives you everything you need to wirelessly play music in two rooms of your house. And with SonosNet’s superior wireless range, no room is out of reach. Just connect the ZonePlayer 90 (ZP90) to your home theater or stereo and place the ZonePlayer 120 (ZP120) with built-in amplifier in any room where you want music.
To start playing music, just grab the full-color wireless Sonos Controller 200 (CR200) and simply pick a room, pick a song and touch play. With the Controller 200 in hand you’ll have instant access to your entire music library, plus thousands of Internet radio stations, and the most popular online music services to play all over the house.
LED Tattoo's could be the next big thing in the world of body art. I for one have many tattoo's and I could see myself with one of these tattoo's in the future.
This new technology was made possible from the people of the University of Pennsylvania. Researchers there are developing silicon-and-silk implantable devices which sit under the skin like a tattoo. Already implanted into mice, these tattoos could carry LEDs, turning your skin into a screen.
The silk substrate onto which the chips are mounted eventually dissolves away inside the body, leaving just the electronics behind. The silicon chips are around the length of a small grain of rice — about 1 millimeter, and just 250 nanometers thick. The sheet of silk will keep them in place, molding to the shape of the skin when saline solution is added.
There are many different uses for this chip that can be very beneficals in their use. Their could be some great medical uses for this chip like using it for neurodevices that tie into the body’s nervous system. Currently chips are already being used today in your pets to identify them and their owners. But the flexible nature of these “tattooed” circuits means they can move elastically with the body, sitting in places that a rigid circuit board couldn’t. I am sure that they will find many uses for these chips in the future. In the article that I reference they talk about how Phillips is looking to use it for more sexual uses (Use your imagination for this one).
Check out this video that shows what it could look like. Leave a comment on what you think this technology could be used for other than tattoo's.
Today I would like to take a look at the art of manipulations with the use of Photoshop. Photoshop manipulation is the process of image editing techniques to photographs in order to create an illusion or deception, through digital means. In this little collections is some extraordinary work that must have been challenging yet fun. So if your looking to do a little bit of photoshop manipulation then this will give you some good inspiration.
Google is one of the best things that has happened to us in this 21st Century. Google has come a long way in it's growth and understanding of it's users and it is only going to get better. I would go over the history but it would be a very long essay type blog. So instead I found a video that will show the milestones of Google in 2 minutes.
Little Fact
The name "Google" originated from a misspelling of the word "googol",which refers to 10100, the number represented by a 1 followed by one hundred zeros. Having found its way increasingly into everyday language, the verb "google" was added to the Merriam Webster Collegiate Dictionary and the Oxford English Dictionary in 2006, meaning "to use the Google search engine to obtain information on the Internet.

My friend Doug brought this to my attention this morning. Microsoft's new project Natal. Project Natal is a full-body motion control that doesn't require a controller of any kind. In watching the promotion video for the Natal I was very intrigued and excited in this new innovation.
Project Natal is a bar that sits above or below your TV, much like the Wii's sensor bar. But instead of sensing controllers, this thing has a camera, sensors and a microphone inside that lets it get an accurate sense of your space and you in it. This lets you control games just by moving around; kicking, jumping, whatever. But that's really just the start.
You can also move through menus by swiping your hands back and forth. The camera allows for fun features like facial and voice recognition. When you have it running, your Xbox will recognize your face and sign you in automatically.
This innovation is going to be just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to things that developers will be able to build to interact with the users. It will bring the living room experience to a higher level from past generations of living room gadgets. Check out the video below of promotion of Project Natal.
Boxee is a new way to enjoy your entertainment needs via your computer and T.V. Boxee provides online TV, movies, music, and photos for the couch potato in all of us. This application that Boxee provides has been the go too application for viewing pleasure. One of the main reasons that it has yet to become a household name outside of the tech community is the need to have a full fledged PC to run it. So if you don't have a media center computer hooked up to your TV then more than likely you can only view it from your computer. However, this all about to change. Boxee announced that it has located its first-ever partner, which basically means that some sort of Boxee set-top box is on the way. Boxee has informed us that more details will be provided on December 7th when it reveals its first Beta software. However, obviously there are any number of small form-factor platforms available on the market today to get this done for the folks at Boxee - perhaps an NVIDIA Ion-based system might do the trick? In fact, the mock below looks a lot like an Acer Aspire Revo or maybe it's based on something a bit more powerful?(hothardware.com). If your still unsure about what Boxee has to offer watch the video on there main page. Click Here
So I have returned from vacation and what a trip. It was a great time with friends and with the new ones I made on the trip. So in seeing how I was on vacation it would be a given that I would have taken some photography pictures with my Samsung camera. Here is what I took and with a little use of Photoshop these are my results. Let me know what you think?
I will be unable to do any blog post this coming week due to vacation. I will be returning on Nov 13th and will continue posting more great posts upon the return from my vacation. In the mean time enjoy this picture I took a couple weeks ago on my way to work.
I was searching around on flickr today and I stumbled upon Ultra's photo's. Here real name is Sara Perovic and she is located in Berlin. That was the only information that I was able to find out about her.
There is a nostalgic feeling when viewing her photography. Some of her work takes me back in the past and some are just a simplistic memory. They have that alone feeling or a silence to each of the photos. Let me know what you think of her work.
It was made over 25 years ago. WABOT-2 was a robot that was developed by Waseda University in 1984 as an intelligent humanoid keyboard player.
Playing a keyboard instrument was set up as an intelligent task that the WABOT-2 aimed to accomplish, since an artistic activity such as playing a keyboard instrument would require human-like intelligence and dexterity. Therefore the WABOT-2 was defined as a "specialist robot" rather than a versatile robot.
The robot musician WABOT-2 can converse with a person, read a normal musical score with is eye and play tunes of average difficulty on an electronic organ. The WABOT-2 is also able of accompanying a person while he listens to the person singing. The WABOT-2 was the first milestone in developing a "personal robot".
Here is a clip of the robot demonstrating it’s chops at Expo ‘85 in Tsukuba, Japan with a performance of Kitaro’s new age classic “Silk Road.”
Big Bird we all know and love this big yellow bird. He is one of the most iconic characters on Sesame Street. Being that he is so known he is being used as a Google Doodle to celebrate Sesame Streets 40th Anniversary which is actually on November 10, 2009. The show began back in 1969 and it has been making history ever since.
The groundbreaking show, produced by the Children's Television Workshop and a staple of public broadcasting, was years ahead of its time in promoting values that are now taken for granted in many places - accepting and appreciating diversity, not making assumptions based on gender, and being sensitive to cultural and economic differences, are all ideas the show emphasized before it was fashionable to do so.(NYDailynews.com)
You know what I found interesting is this:" The early years are now available on DVD; and the discs contain a disclaimer that essentially states that they are intended for nostalgia purposes only. The warning reads as follows: "These early 'Sesame Street' episodes are intended for grown-ups, and may not suit the needs of today's preschool child."
I would have to say that times have changed and also the ideas of how child are being taught in school these days. But on that note hats off to Children's Television Workshop for it's 40th Anniversary and it's influences its had over different cultures.

If you use Photoshop on a regular basis then you will find this photo to be humorous for it's real likeness of Photoshop. I wonder how long it took the person who did this to come up with the idea and how long it took to put it together.

Windows Mobile 6.5 launched earlier this month and people weren’t very impressed. Windows Mobile 6.5 was just release on October 6th this year and the company is already working on updates for this version with Windows Mobile 6.5.1. This may be because a lot of users felt that the operating system really didn't change much from previous versions. This doesn't give users of the current platform much reason to be convinced in staying with the windows platform. Windows Mobile 6.5 does have a new and improved web browser and home screen so I guess that is a plus.
Windows Mobile 6.5.1 will however bring several significant improvements, including a rewritten, finger-friendly contact application, according to Download Squad. Microsoft is also adding several UI elements, including buttons and check boxes with a visual refresh that will hopefully address how most of the OS still looks like it's from 2002.
Windows Mobile 7 is expected out next year, and it will reportedly represent a major shift by including more finger-friendly controls and a new version of Office Mobile. But until then, it sounds like Windows Mobile 6.5.1 might be the way to go if you're stuck with a Windows Mobile device.
