I did a blog last week of some strange and funny images that used Photoshop to give it a creative and different approach. One of the last pictures of that blog was done by Romain Laurent. I thought it was an interesting concept and was intrigued to see more of his work.
Romain Laurent is talented French photographer, who has been known to work with large commercial agencies. He has interesting ideas and a deep sense and understanding of his ideas and they are captured in his work. These photos below are some great inspiration to get your mind wondering and thinking of new ideas. So enjoy the works of Romain Laurent.

Sonos changed what the term “home stereo” really means, channeling your music to every room of your house. It is a little pricey at $999.00 but I'm sure it would be a great buy for anyone who is a music lover and listens to more music than watching TV.
The Sonos Bundle 250 gives you everything you need to wirelessly play music in two rooms of your house. And with SonosNet’s superior wireless range, no room is out of reach. Just connect the ZonePlayer 90 (ZP90) to your home theater or stereo and place the ZonePlayer 120 (ZP120) with built-in amplifier in any room where you want music.
To start playing music, just grab the full-color wireless Sonos Controller 200 (CR200) and simply pick a room, pick a song and touch play. With the Controller 200 in hand you’ll have instant access to your entire music library, plus thousands of Internet radio stations, and the most popular online music services to play all over the house.
LED Tattoo's could be the next big thing in the world of body art. I for one have many tattoo's and I could see myself with one of these tattoo's in the future.
This new technology was made possible from the people of the University of Pennsylvania. Researchers there are developing silicon-and-silk implantable devices which sit under the skin like a tattoo. Already implanted into mice, these tattoos could carry LEDs, turning your skin into a screen.
The silk substrate onto which the chips are mounted eventually dissolves away inside the body, leaving just the electronics behind. The silicon chips are around the length of a small grain of rice — about 1 millimeter, and just 250 nanometers thick. The sheet of silk will keep them in place, molding to the shape of the skin when saline solution is added.
There are many different uses for this chip that can be very beneficals in their use. Their could be some great medical uses for this chip like using it for neurodevices that tie into the body’s nervous system. Currently chips are already being used today in your pets to identify them and their owners. But the flexible nature of these “tattooed” circuits means they can move elastically with the body, sitting in places that a rigid circuit board couldn’t. I am sure that they will find many uses for these chips in the future. In the article that I reference they talk about how Phillips is looking to use it for more sexual uses (Use your imagination for this one).
Check out this video that shows what it could look like. Leave a comment on what you think this technology could be used for other than tattoo's.
Today I would like to take a look at the art of manipulations with the use of Photoshop. Photoshop manipulation is the process of image editing techniques to photographs in order to create an illusion or deception, through digital means. In this little collections is some extraordinary work that must have been challenging yet fun. So if your looking to do a little bit of photoshop manipulation then this will give you some good inspiration.
Google is one of the best things that has happened to us in this 21st Century. Google has come a long way in it's growth and understanding of it's users and it is only going to get better. I would go over the history but it would be a very long essay type blog. So instead I found a video that will show the milestones of Google in 2 minutes.
Little Fact
The name "Google" originated from a misspelling of the word "googol",which refers to 10100, the number represented by a 1 followed by one hundred zeros. Having found its way increasingly into everyday language, the verb "google" was added to the Merriam Webster Collegiate Dictionary and the Oxford English Dictionary in 2006, meaning "to use the Google search engine to obtain information on the Internet.

My friend Doug brought this to my attention this morning. Microsoft's new project Natal. Project Natal is a full-body motion control that doesn't require a controller of any kind. In watching the promotion video for the Natal I was very intrigued and excited in this new innovation.
Project Natal is a bar that sits above or below your TV, much like the Wii's sensor bar. But instead of sensing controllers, this thing has a camera, sensors and a microphone inside that lets it get an accurate sense of your space and you in it. This lets you control games just by moving around; kicking, jumping, whatever. But that's really just the start.
You can also move through menus by swiping your hands back and forth. The camera allows for fun features like facial and voice recognition. When you have it running, your Xbox will recognize your face and sign you in automatically.
This innovation is going to be just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to things that developers will be able to build to interact with the users. It will bring the living room experience to a higher level from past generations of living room gadgets. Check out the video below of promotion of Project Natal.
