Yes! You are correct these are made from toilet paper rolls. They were created by Junior Fritz Jacquest. The faces of these fictional characters are first sculpted by hand and then coated with shellac and different pigments. What cracks me up about these sculptures though is that they all look like faces of people taking a number 2 or George Bush. Either way its funny but at the same time awesome that someone used such creativity to make these.
J. Mayer H. the Architect who has designed the new airport building in Mestia did so with the intent to develop tourism in Mestia. The airport was just one of the new developments to increase the tourism in this medieval town. The construction for the new airport was completed in 3 months which is quite impressive.
The design itself is eye catching and keeps you wondering on the outside how it looks on the inside and also how it functions as an airport. It has to be such an inspiring and wondrous view from inside the building. In being that it's constructed of a lot of glass the view has to add to this buildings overall achievement as an airport.

Back in September of 2010 I talked about the Atlanta band Kinisi who had a track "beach frogs" featured on Playlist-18. Kinisi is the creative project of Speros Constantine Kokenes and he was nice enough to notify me via email that he has completed a New Album called "Sun Battle Soul".
He states that it's a fully instrumental composition meant to be listened to as one complete work. The concept of the album revolves around a theme of the organic vs. the inorganic, exploring the harmony and disharmony that results from the interaction of the physical world and the mental consciousness we experience and questioning where/how time exists in this relationship. The track titles serve as a (admittedly ambiguous) program guide for the story of two characters who's crossing of paths results in tension, hostility, and ultimately resolution.
Did I mention that it's available to download for FREE. Also don't forget to check out his other two EP on his bandcamp site.

Dan Mountford is a graphic designer/photographer who has a skill of making great double exposures. His works are all made first in camera without photoshop overlays. He does use photoshop and illustrator to edit the photo but the initial double exposure was all done in camera. If you want to check out more of his work then check out his Flickr account.
Well here it is the first new playlist of 2011, Playlist-22 Compiled by Damion. In this playlist I wanted some more upbeat style tracks to get the new year pumping. I'm not going to lie there are some slow tracks up in the mix. If I should give you any advices on this playlist though you should definitely check out track 14 Animale Datsik Remix. This dubstep remix is just off the hook with its super dirty basslines. If it doesn't touch your dubstep fancy then I don't know what to tell you. I think that this playlist has a nice flow although I could be wrong cause the Ray Ban Vision track might through it off. I don't know I just like the track and had to share it. Let me know what you think.
If you want to check out any of the other Playlist then click on Archived Playlist in this post or on the right hand side of this blog.

Website are sometimes to crowded and to much is going on. So it's a little hard to follow the concept or find what your looking for. That is one of the reasons why I like the clean and minimalistic styles of some website. I have added a couple of sites that I think have a clean and minimal look. So if your looking for a clean and minimal style to inspire you hopefully these can give you a start.
I rarely ever do a post about furniture but this piece I couldn't pass up. The Kinesis Chair and Ottoman created by Thos. Moser. He has designed a chair with a matching ottoman that is not just a chair but a sculpted piece of art. The collection, called Kinesis, features a chair with a sensuous seatback and arms; the sleek lines look as if they would be at home in a Porsche. I'm sure your wondering at this point how much does this sweet chair cost. Well I will tell you. Upholstered in a natural cowhide or soft suede-like cloth these are your choices. The Walnut color will run you $7,350.00 and matching ottoman will run you $2,425.00 for a total of $9,775.00. I know I couldn't afford it but it's still nice to look at. I have added video below where David Moser talks about how his design came to be.
