Let's continue are gaming experiences with a little bit of high tech added in. In the world of evolving games for your smart phones, gaming console's and PC's let me introduce the Drone Controller ($65 and up) by Evolution Controllers. This sleek, open-source controller will link up with your iOS, Android, or PC device via Bluetooth, and will offer dual analog joysticks, a digital G-Pad, six face buttons, two shoulder buttons, a rechargeable battery, and an open source SDK for developers to take advantage of this advance controller. Happy game play my friends.
How would you feel about owning a Nintendo NES Controller Coffee Table? I know that I would be like Sweet! This custom made table was created by Charles Lushear and let me tell you it is fully functional to get some games on once you remove the glass top. The cord is also fully retractable, so no messy cable issues. This baby is also made from maple, mahogany and walnut with dovetail joinery with mid century modern legs. So you know that it's durable and will take a lot of game play. So if you have $3,500 dollars lying around or you have been saving up money for something cool. Then here you go.

It seems the iPhone gets another sweet music app that the Android lacks, although I'm hoping Swedish Propellerhead (the makers of Reason) will make it for the Android as well. Figure is not your run of the mill beat grid style music app. This app is not only eye popping but it has controls that will make it easy for anyone to make music in minutes. They even have a thorough overview on their site on how to operate Figure and for a .99 cent app. You can't beat this (pun intended).

“I think we as an industry haven’t been that great about inviting people in who don’t have deep dreams about becoming big stars or understanding everything about music production, it’s time for that: I think everyone should be invited to be part of this. Figure is a small step towards that.” – says chief executive Ernst Nathorst Böös.

Miller Lagos is the creator behind the Book Igloo. This installation was created for MagnanMetz Gallery in New York City and it's entitled simply “Home”. Each book was carefully stacked to create a compact dome that is entirely self-supporting. I guess if you were bored, you could take a book from your house and have a nice read, although it would leave a hole in your house. Check out more of Miller Lagos work here.

Sometimes time is easier to be said in words and that is what the QLOCKTWO does. It will be available to the market later this year. It's cased in natural brushed stainless steel or black, 35 x 35 x 7mm, black leather or natural rubber strap, calendar day and second display, LED technology.
In a square there is a grid of 110 letters. When the stainless steel button is pressed, words light up in unexpected places which describe the time. Whenever you look at your QLOCKTWO W, it´s a new experience.Looking forward to adding this beautiful watch to my collection., how about you? They even have a desk/alarm clock as well, if your interested.

Talked about an upgrade to an old Victorian terraced house. They took a dark and narrow kitchen area and transformed it into a lighted area. They took the ground floor that was expanded into an unused yard area and backwards into area previously occupied by an outside wood construction. What a way to use the old space to gain new space and give an old style a huge modern add-on. Check more about the house here.

Kim Høltermand who is a freelance architectural and landscape photographer from Denmark created this series Desert City. This series reminds me of getting up early on a foggy day and wondering the city in the early morning and admiring the silence and beauty of my town. What does this series make you think of. If you think this series is sweet you should check out his other series.

I came across this video, If Facebook Were Invented in the 90's and it had me rolling. I could only imagine the idea of what someone's thoughts would have been on the idea of Facebook back in the 90's. I mean you're on dial up for crying out loud. I highly recommend watching this, the sounds and style alone made it funny. It was from a VHS tape with the popular science show ‘Wonders of the World Wide Web’ about Facebook. Enjoy!
