What can I say other than
Tanlines new debut album
Mixed Emotions arrived just in time for Spring/Summer. This album is an instant day brightener with it's nostalgic 80's synth-spiration and dance feel grooves. This electronic-pop Brooklyn duo Eric Emm and Jesse Cohen combined with the Afro-pop and Tropicalia detailing gives songs like "
All of Me" and "
Real Life" a nice rhythmic feel to get your body swaying. Eric Emm and his soulful yet relaxing voice reminds me a little bit of
Vampire Weekend with a little bit of
Cut Copy giving each track just the right amount of balance.
This album is going to get me through some great beach days and long summer drives with the window down. Check out the videos below.
We have all sat around waiting for our turn to play some chess against the winner but what if all three of you could play at once. This isn't going to be an easy game.
Three Man Chess ($TBA) switches the ancient game from a square board to a round one, making room for a third set of pieces — gray, in this case — and opening up a whole new world of possible moves, strategies, and ways to get beaten when you least expect it. Would you rock one of these in your next game?

Those of you that ride a lot at one point and time have had your back light stolen or it falls off and breaks. Check out a new design that builds the light into the seat post.
Epic Bike has created the
Light Skin which is LED lenses with buttons built into one assembly, so that it can be easily embedded in the seat post. This unique technique, which was employed to firmly fix the LED circuit inside the seatpost, enables a simple design, as well as ensures the maximum performance for the strength and function of the seat post.
The design of the LED circuit was self-invented in South Korea and uses AA batteries to further guarantee superior performance. Because of the silicon water-proof pad and patent-pending, unique internal structure, the resistance to damage by water is also a plus in my book. This Light Skin will run you about $73.00 bucks but just think about how much you have already spent on a back light. It's also a great talking point on your overall bike design. Here is a strange looking digital camera made by
IKEA out of cardboard. It was included as part of a press kit at an event in Europe recently, and apparently the “disposable” camera might go on sale sometime in the near future at IKEA. While it is unclear what kinds of pictures this cardboard camera can take (or what crazy Swedish name it has), it is believed IKEA may be looking to sell it in retail stores,
PetaPixel reports.
The camera uses two AA batteries and can store up to 40 pictures max. To upload the photos onto your computer, a USB stick swings out of the upper corner. Don't be fooled though it's still fragile like all other digital camera's, but it wouldn't be much of a lose monetary wise if it got wet or you lost it at a show.

I have always found terrariums to be fascinating and a great decor for the home and these two NY based designers
Jennica Johnstone and
Noah Atkinson have created their own style of terrariums called Mosser. The
Mosser ($10.00) is a small glass terrarium filled with a simple round moss ball. The Mosser comes with a glass mister bottle used to feed your plant. They are very easy to care for and only need to be sprayed once every two weeks with filtered water.
Mosser is about capturing simplicity and keeping it alive in one's space. We recognize the need to have something natural at your fingers tips in this day and age.
They are currently on back order due to the press and their stylish terrariums. But if you're willing to wait I'm sure you will be happy you did.
