The folks at Art Lebedev are people who care and they come up with the craziest and best ideas, the Bulavkus USB flash drive. An interesting mix between design, tech and fashion, the Bulavkus is a simple safety pin with a flash drive on it.  It spares you from digging through your pockets but it looks like something that can get lost very easily, but I still want one. Seung Mo Park a Koran sculptor designs and makes extremely detailed portraits out of multiple layers of stainless steel wire mesh. Seung sketches or projects images of his models on wire mesh and then cuts parts out to add depth and a three-dimensional feel to them. Check out more work by Seung Mo Park.

"Boxetti Private contains the set of basic bedroom functions –a double bed, night stand and a wardrobe. The foldaway bed platform is automatically lifted by a remote control, together with a built-in night stand. The unit is equipped with a spotlight and an ambience lighting fixture above the headboard. The integrated wardrobe consists of six sections including shelves, drawers and a clothes rail. "

Emilie Griottes has created these very interesting Pantone Swatch Tarts. In this series the colors are so vibrant and perfectly handmade that you would have thought Pantone put out a new advertisement, but nope just her awesome idea.  I think if I could eat one for real I would go for the Pantone 7492 C which looks like cucumbers on a tart.

What can I say other than Tanlines new debut album Mixed Emotions arrived just in time for Spring/Summer. This album is an instant day brightener with it's nostalgic 80's synth-spiration and dance feel grooves. This electronic-pop Brooklyn duo Eric Emm and Jesse Cohen combined with the Afro-pop and Tropicalia detailing gives songs like "All of Me" and "Real Life" a nice rhythmic feel to get your body swaying. Eric Emm and his soulful yet relaxing voice reminds me a little bit of Vampire Weekend with a little bit of Cut Copy giving each track just the right amount of balance.

This album is going to get me through some great beach days and long summer drives with the window down.  Check out the videos below.

Those of you that ride a lot at one point and time have had your back light stolen or it falls off and breaks. Check out a new design that builds the light into the seat post. Epic Bike has created the Light Skin which is  LED lenses with buttons built into one assembly, so that it can be easily embedded in the seat post. This unique technique, which was employed to firmly fix the LED circuit inside the seatpost, enables a simple design, as well as ensures the maximum performance for the strength and function of the seat post.
