Finding new and stylish ways of finding a place to park your bike can be a fun adventure. Industrial designer Reinis Salins has come up with a clever and decorative way to mount your bike onto the wall. The Elk Bike Hanger is a “clean product with a natural concept; handmade quality and smooth design,” explained Salins. The Elk Bike Hanger ($294) is carved at different angles out of solid Oak wood, and is designed to let the user mount the bike in three steps; lift the bike, shift the rear of the bike upwards and into the Elk, then let the bike rest securely into the wooden device. Well it's November and it's time again for Movember!  Not sure what Movember is? Movember is a successful men's health charities that started back in 2004.  The premise is simple: just grow any style mustache that your heart desires in the month of November to raise awareness and money for men's health causes, particularly prostate and testicular cancer.

Wouldn't it be nice if there was a better way to ride your bike with out getting a flat. How about a airless tire would that work? The "Energy Return Wheel" concept by designer Brian Russell demonstrates the possibilities of advance wheel technologies in the video below.

Instead of air, it uses rubber stretched over a series of carbon nano tube reinforced composite rods to provide its cushioning. These rods can be adjusted, changing the tension of the rubber to suit different types of terrain, improves flexing and recoil cycling. Plus it means no more having a pump, tubes and patches. Would you get a pair of these?

Beer morning to you all. I came across a beautiful and all around awesome branding and identity work done by Manual for Loveland Aleworks. This independent microbrewery is base in Loveland, Colorado where they brew a selection of classic European and American craft style beers. The design reflects the values of the company and incorporates some local history of Loveland as a gateway to Rocky Mountain Nation park.
