Irina Blok took on a challenge of redesigning condom packaging to get out the message of protecting your junk. Here was the challenge:
"We are looking for a Next Generation Condom that significantly preserves or enhances pleasure, in order to improve uptake and regular use. Additional concepts that might increase uptake include attributes that increase ease-of-use for male and female condoms, for example better packaging or designs that are easier to properly apply."
She wanted to answer the challenge of reinventing condoms from a graphic design perspective. Perhaps the biggest problem with condoms is the boring packaging, and not the actual product. Creating compelling artwork could encourage people around the world to actually use these." This is how Irina Blok announced to take Bill Gates up on his challenge to design the 'next generation condoms' by redesigning packaging. What do you think?

The
Carma Project is a really neat project, sponsored by ad firm
Leo Burnett Lisbon. They created a bike with as many reclaimed car parts as possible, watch the video below! They built the bicycle out of scraps from a retired Mercedes hoping that the heavy karma of the car could be re-balanced by riding the same number of kilometers in a greener way: just by cycling.

Philips DesignLine TV ($TBA) decided to get rid of the ever-thinning bezel design of TV's and built a frameless sheet of glass. No word yet on a US release.
