Looking for the buttons on the side of the phone? Flip the phone over - the
LG G2 Smartphone ($TBA) changes things up a bit by moving them to the back of the device, making the phone more ergonomic so you're less likely to drop it. They've also upped the ante with a 5.2-inch full-HD display (the largest of any smartphone in its class), a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera, and a 2.26GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. It sports some exciting user experience features like a pared-down guest mode, a programmable remote that can operate devices in your home, and a phone that answers automatically when you raise it to your ear. It also uses Graphic RAM (GRAM) technology. GRAM reduces the display’s energy use by up to 26 percent on a still frame and increases overall usage time on the device by approximately 10 percent. And with a generous 3,000mAh battery that is thoughtfully designed to take maximum advantage of the interior space, the LG G2 is more than ready for a full day’s work or play.

So in this day and age we have wood, plastic and now we have vinyl glasses.
Vinylize wants to revive vinyl and the way they are doing it is by designing designer glasses and sunglasses out of recyclable vinyl records. The idea spun off from the simple idea of creating eye-wear from recycled materials. Vinyl works great for this because its both a suitable material and there is sufficient quantities available. Prices for these styles can very but just like any designer glass be expected to pay a higher cost. Check out all the styles on
Vinylize.

French designers
Zébra3/Buy-Sellf have designed a prefabricated holiday home in the shape of a cloud that sits next to a lake in south-west France. It was originally designed as an art installation and is now used as a rural shelter for holidaymakers. "
Sleeping in a comic-style hut is a unique urban experience," said Zebra3.
The cabin is made from softwood, plywood, plexiglass and glass‐fiber reinforced plastic. It is painted white to look like a fluffy cloud and has thin slanted windows that offer views across the countryside. The only downside is that the cabin doesn't provide any electricity or water. Just the bare essentials.

For those of you that are always on the go and need a desk or a place to sit for work, then this suitcase is for you.
Boxed is a piece of multi-functional furniture that fits in a suitcase. The pieces can transform into at least four types of furniture. It can be a coffee table, a desk, two stools and a lamp. All of these elements can be extended by the simple introduction of another part to suit the user's need. These parts then all collapse back down to their most basic form, allowing them to be returned to the case that they are stored inside. The design was created by Scottish designer Tyrone Stoddart. This
"Growler" concept city commuter is just a working sketch prototype in a series of thoughts on what we carry around with us and the importance of those items. They took a Growler from a local pub and set off to design a bike around it. Awesome! With or without the beer, this changed how we view typical beach/city cruisers.

Architect
Jesper Brask and his family spent time in this woodsy acre of land in North Zealand, Denmark to know everything about this site before building there summer home. The piney area where the house was to be built was not neglected as it was used in the creation of this summerhouse. This gateway also used steel, bricks, and glass for the dramatic sloping floor to ceiling windows and glass doors that brings the woods almost inside. At the core of the open-plan home is the towering chimney which holds three fireplaces, a conventional oven, and a pizza oven. That's pretty sweet. What do you think of this summer home?
