Wired headphones are still around and still a pain in the ass.  Your constantly untangling the wires or they get caught on something and it pulls the headphones from your ears. Such a pain! Earin Wireless Earbuds ($200) promises to do away with all of that. Marketed as the smallest, wireless earbuds available on the market. The two earbuds work together to function as one Bluetooth headphone set; no cables, no attachments just high quality audio sound thanks to balanced armature speakers.

It has been about 4 years since I have worked on my last portfolio website. So I thought it was about time to redo the site on Wix.com. This time instead of being a flash based website this site is currently constructed with HTML5, which makes it a little easier to work with.

On Damion S. Portfolio Collection site I've added my portfolio works from photography, websites, TCL works and more, which will be continuously updated. It's also easy to get back and forth to TCL via the menu and I have also added a blog feed on the home page of the new site. I have also added an Etsy Shop to start offering design prints. Currently, all prints are set to $10, which is not hard on the old wallet. You will also now see a shop link on TCL to quickly get to the site.

In the next two weeks, I will be doing a giveaway for The Collective Loops #1000th post in which I will be giving away both TCL Playlist Collection Posters. So keep an eye out for that!   In the mean time be sure to check out the new site and let me know what you think?

Seeing how today is the beginning of the FIFA World Cup. I thought it would be fitting to honor the World Cup in Brazil, with Nike Football with there animated short film, "The Last Game".

"The Last Game" is a story about risky football versus safe football. The scientist and the clones want to prove that risk-less football is more effective." Well watch and find out if that is true.

Here is a house that is an inspiration for those that enjoy living on the water. Utrecht’s Kanaalweg joined in the architectural effort to inspire people to live where they most feel comfortable. In the case of Hieke and Sietze, their home is a floating houseboat designed by BYTR architecten. It was named "The ParkArk", this steel ship acting as a cozy residence displays a seductive blend of modern solutions and functional design. Photographs taken by StijnStijl, we can see this beautiful floating houseboat and still see understand the context – it's located next to a cycling route through one of the city’s parks. Superheroes are not always saving people. Sometimes they just jam out like rock stars.

Graphic artist Andrés Moncayo gives you a glimpse into superhero rock glam with his stylish illustration series. He changes their dull outfits for both Justice League and Avengers for a more grunge glam look. Moncayo gave each superhero their own custom costume to wear on stage where they play at their favorite dive bar, where they're playing a slew of sold out shows.

First, before I start telling you the reason for the new design let me welcome you to TCL's new design and layout!! So now onward,  let's get into a little bit of the design and the reason for the change.

Since I created the blog back in 2009 I wanted to make it a place for me to remember awesome things. As it went on I got more into it and changed the name from Damion DJ and Producer Blog to something that matched what my blog was about. So I changed the design back in 2011 and changed the name to The Collective Loop.

So here we are 4 years later since the last update and I felt that it was time for a makeover. The Collective Loop is a place where art, design, music, technology and more collectively loop, but that doesn't mean the design can't After contemplating, I decided that I wanted to change the layout to look more professional, interactive and all around still have a minimal feel.  I was able to find all this with the new design.
