The Shinola Runwell Turntable is the first in a new line of audio products from the Detroit-based brand. It was a collaboration with Henry Weisfeld, founder of high-end manufacturer VPI. The platter and tonearm components are made with precision, while the electronic components are produced by American Board in New Jersey. The components are then placed in an oak base, and assembled in Detroit. It's finished with a custom leather slip-mat and custom-built cartridge, resulting in a new American audio classic that will sound and look great for years to come. Dubbed the Microsoft Surface Studio ($2,999.00), its signature feature is its 28-inch PixelSense Display that boasts 13.5 million pixels and is mounted to a pair of arms that let it lower and rotate backward, becoming a giant drawing pad for the Surface Pen and new Surface Dial, which is amazing! Otherwise the specs are much what you'd expect, with with bottom case housing an Intel Core i5 or i7 processor, an Nvidia GeForce GPU, and up to 32GB of RAM to keep those creative apps humming. It is due to ship in 2017 and already you can pre-order this new Surface Studio PC.

Now here is a beautiful private, three-leveled bungalow in Sri Lanka that was built by Narein Perera. The hut-like hideaway is made of steel, timber and bamboo, situated on top of a huge estate at the border of the Sri Lankan jungle. This allows an unspoiled view over the valley below and the hills beyond.

The architecture is inspired by the form of the so-called Chena Watch-Hut. The watch-huts are elevated refugees for Sri Lankan farmers to protect their cultivation overnight. The Estate Bungalow serves the owner to oversee the functioning of his estate, too, while resting and getting together with the family all at once.

The Mag-Lev Audio Levitating Turntable floats in the air, holding your favorite albums in a friction-free spin above the main unit. It uses patented technology to maintain precise magnetic tuning of the platter's spin, which can play a 33 or 45 rpm with the turn of a button. A Pro-Ject 8.6 tonearm and Ortofon OM 5E cartridge make sure your music always sounds great, and a semi-automatic system returns the tonearm when the record is finished, meaning you can flip it or grab another at your leisure.
