Panasonic has over a decade of experience making mirrorless cameras, so it's no surprise that the S1 & S1R are the company's first to use full-frame sensors. The S1 is well-rounded, with advanced video capabilities and a 24MP sensor. The S1R is built for those who need maximum resolution and is based around a 47MP sensor with a 187MP "High Res" sensor-shift mode. Both cameras are fully weather-sealed, with 5.76M-dot, 120Hz OLED electronic viewfinders, 5-axis in-body image stabilization systems, dual-hinged touchscreen LCDs, quick contrast-detect AF systems, and support for both XQD and SD cards. They both use L-mount glass, a Leica-owned system that will include lenses from Panasonic, Sigma, and Leica themselves. It will run you about $2,500 for the S1R about $3,700. The Alternative Limb Project founded by Sophie Oliveira Barata creates unique prosthetic arms and legs that become a form of self-expression. The modern artificial limbs were designed to look like beautiful works of art empowered by the wearer and inspire positive dialogue about the human body.

Seems that turntables are making a come back in 2019 and this one adds a needed feature. The brand new Alva TT ($1,700) is the first turntable in the world to offer aptX HD Bluetooth so you can stream your vinyl to any compatible device within range. The Alva TT is built with a medium-torque Direct Drive system for consistent speeds and pitch-perfect audio reproduction. It also has a built-in phono stage, a single-piece tone-arm, and a high output MC cartridge that comes pre-installed. It will be coming soon! Debuted in concept form at the 2018 CES, LG's roll-up TV is a real product. Called the R9, it has a 65-inch OLED display that rolls up into a stylish metal box, which also houses a 100W Dolby Atmos audio system hidden behind Kvadrat fabric. While the entire screen can hide away inside the enclosure, the Line View mode leaves a quarter of it visible for tasks like music playback. Powered by the α9 Gen 2 processor with deep learning AI, it supports Dolby Vision with automatic picture adjustment, has Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa built-in, and will also support Apple AirPlay 2 and HomeKit when it arrives in stores later this year.
