How many of you out there are looking for a way to share and distribute your music to others? Have all of you thought I can't send it through email it's too big. I don't have a website so how do I send or let others download my music. Well look no further than SoundCloud. SoundCloud lets you move music fast & easy. The platform takes the daily hassle out of receiving, sending & distributing music for artists, record labels & other music professionals. The best thing about SoundCloud to me is that there is no limit on the file size or format. There are many other great features that can be used in SoundCloud. I would love to explain them all but the video below does a better job. Check it out and see if SoundCloud would be good for you and your needs.

Wallet's we all carry them so why not put a little style in them. I found some stylish wallets that are made from recyclable material and are super eco-friendly cause who doesn't want that. You get to be stylish and you get to help the world be greener.
The Portland-based wallet maker is back with a whole new line. DB Clay Hand Printed Wallets ($60; Pre-order) are, as the name suggests, hand-printed, with each one boasting a unique design. TheDB Clay company made the move to a more eco-friendly version of their wildly popular and superbly designed high-tech manifestations. They now use a more eco-friendly ink and use a different material called Tope. Tope is a sleek synthetic fabric similar in texture to a vinyl canvas. Tope was engineered to be strong, flexible and durable for use. It is made from non-toxic raw materials and is fabricated using a completely pollution-free process. (Great Wallet. I actually have this wallet in the picture).
Money Bag Wallets ($35) are handmade billkeepers constructed from vintage money bags. In addition to loads of character and nifty retro bank graphics, these wallets also sport a bill pocket and two card sections, as well as telltale signs of wear that make each as unique as its owner.
Tired of your leather wallet disintegrating every 18 months? Get an Upcycled Seat Belt Wallet ($32). This tough wallet, made from a real seat belt, features eight card slots, an oversize cash section to fit all currencies, two spots for receipts/notes, and a Moleskine-like elastic closure. (I'm thinking of getting this one).
Have a favorite deck that you'd like to carry with you everywhere you go? Turn it into a Sk8 Wallet ($60). These brilliant black nylon wallets are made from new & recycled skateboard decks, with each side handcrafted and fitted to the wallet's rectangular shape, and then edge-sanded to their thinnest point for sleek durability.

DJ Earworm I have to give him props on his mashup skills. From what I get from his site, he has done 3 years of the United State of Pop Mashups of the top 25 songs of the year. He has done a great job of cutting up slices of sounds and his use of different acapellas's and what is more impressive is the timing and video chopping that goes with the mashup's. So I invite you to watch three of his mashup songs/video's from 2007 to 2009. He also makes it available for you to download the mp3 on his website. While you're on his site check out some of his other mashup tracks.

In the light of seeing the Avatar in the IMAX theater and watching it's amazing scenery and characters I wanted to talk about Alex Roman and his works. I was introduced to this artist by the good people at IS050. Alex Roman's work to me is amazing to say the least. He is so detailed in his work from the walls to the lighting positioning. I wonder how many hours it takes him to just complete one still of animation. I would have to say that this is some great CGI work cause when you watch the videos it looks so real. The videos were created using 3dsmax, Vray, After Effects, and Premier.
I have included some stills from the videos and also some of his videos from Vimeo. What is great about these videos is that the music goes with the movement of the images and was timed nicely. I'm not sure what came first the music or the video.

Cellphones are a growing part of everybody's everyday life. So we are always trying to stand out and find different ways to show who we are by the accessories that we carry with us. So in that being said, let take a look at some of the concept phone designs that will not go to production, however, could meet the criteria of a you phone.
The Mobile Script phone offers two touchscreens and one of them can slide out to view multimedia files.
The LG Helix when not being used as cellphone also moonlights as a fashion accessory by transforming into a bangle!
The Samsung WM is yet another concept that gets the tech kingdom and the fashion police closer. It is a watch and a mobile phone combined and looks like a remote control.
Typing long messages can be irritating hence the Mimeo interactive cellphone looks like the perfect solution. Sam James Chu’s concept is brilliant as to dial or send a text you need to write it down on a surface.

I recently became familiar with Gregory Alan Isakov music and man was I missing out. Isakov song-craft lends to the deepest lyrical masterpieces. Some of the influence that I hear in his music is some Iron and Wine and who doesn't love Iron and Wine.
"Gregory Alan Isakov proudly calls himself a folk artist, and while that's broadly accurate, it's also a tad limiting. Because while some music fans might not consider themselves fans of "folk," they still bow at the alters of Jeff Tweedy, Andrew Bird and Jolie Holland. And now you can add Isakov to that list."- Denver Post
Gregory Alan Isakov has released a new CD called "This Empy Northern Hemisphere" and I highly recommend that you pick this up. If you are like me and looking for intelligent, rich songwriting with superb folk music sound then this my friends is a treasure.
